Elite have always invested in people, but made it official with an Investors in People accreditation in 2012. This summer saw our 3 year external review. Following an extensive review with auditors visiting multiple client sites and interviewing over 40 members of staff, we’re extremely proud to have retained and extended our accreditation for a further 3 years.
Whilst interviewing a varied range of our employees, the auditor learned much more about who Elite are and how we do things. One member of staff said “At this company, you are given the chance to grow in your role or take on further challenges.”
At Elite, we have a caring approach to our staff, empower them in their job roles and the auditors saw evidence of that. John Spitz, Investors in People specialist said: “Staff stated that the company empowered them to deliver the very best in quality customer service. It was clear that the company have invested in skills, training and development of staff and this has ensured that Elite maintained its professionalism and service levels. The Managing Director and his small management team had substantial experience in the industry and the ethos of staff development was seen as critical to the ‘competitive edge’ and continual business success and growth.”
