Environmental Agency Registered Waste Carriers

Throughout all our operational services we recognise our Duty of Care in regard to the disposal and handling of waste and as such we are registed waste carriers and hold valid Environmental Agency certification.

We recognise our responsibilities towards the environment and our registration forms an important requirement of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Essentially the act requires that any company handling waste (either as a producer, carrier, treater, keeper, disposer, importer or broker) takes all reasonable steps to ensure there is no unauthorised deposit, treatment or disposal of controlled wastes.

Our company is seeking to extend the scope of our current ISO accreditation to include ISO 14001 and embrace the companies Environmental Management System (EMS).

The company has also been awarded with a Groundwork Business Gold Award - an environmental achievement award sponsored and promoted by Manchester City Council and the Environmental Agency in recognition of the companies awareness, promotion and implementation of environmental good-practice.
