2012 Olympics & the impact on cleaning...

This year Britain has the privilege of hosting the Olympic Games, which will bring athletes, spectators and visitors from around the world…. and with it a whole load of mess.

The impact that the Olympic Games will have on the cleaning industry will be tremendous, as well as having a knock on effect to a number of related ancillary sectors.

During this period, we expect a number of our clients to see a rise in traffic through their facilities. A greater footfall brings with it more of a mess and a bigger clean-up operation. It won't just be venues that will see an  increase in activity - hotels, medical  & treatment centres and public buildings will be among those seeing a rise in occupancy.  Organisations should review their operations and have a strategic plan in place to deal with this extra traffic.

Elite personnel are always on hand. Our mobile emergency teams are on standby to deal with any major issues caused by extra traffic, whilst general members of the public should also take personal precautions during this busy periods. Germs will be on the rise with thousands of people set to fly to London to watch these games. Basic regular hand washing can also help.
