Elite Cleaning and Environmental services ensures that all of it’s business processes are conducted and conform to all relevant legislation.

Because of our broad range of services provision, we follow a number of rules and regulations in order to ensure the health and safety of our staff and client environments.

ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard

ISO 9001 is a quality management standard which is designed to help and organisation meet the needs of customers and stakeholders and deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems and the requirements that an organisation needs to meet in order to fulfill prescribed quality standards.  At Elite Cleaning and Environmental Services, we pride ourselves on providing excellence as standard and the highest possible levels of personal attention.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management

Our ISO 14001 accreditation ensures full compliance with best practice and business processes, and ensures compliance with legislation, regulations and environmental requirements and to continually strive to create a better environment.

OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management

Elite Cleaning and Environmental Services conform to the Health and Safety management OHSAS 18001 accreditation with the intention to control occupational health and safety risks, to improve health and safety management procedures within each client location.

Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011

As registered waste carriers we conform to the waste regulations of 2011. These regulations require businesses to apply the waste management hierarchy when transferring waste, make amendments to waste control procedures and consider areas such as prevention of waste, recycling and waste disposal, all our business processes conform to these regulations.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations.

COSHH regulations require all organisations to control all substances that may be hazardous to health. The COSHH regulations require the company to investigate hazards, prevent harm to health, and provide control measures to reduce risk, plan for emergencies, provide the correct training, information and instruction to the appropriate employees and inform our clients.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

The health and safety at work act 1974 covers all occupational health and safety in the UK, and requires the company to ensure all business processes are carried out in compliance with this legislation, and to ensure the health and safety and welfare at work of all our employees. All areas of training, risk assessments and site audits are maintained throughout our sites to ensure we conform to this legislation and to ensure the health and safety of our staff and client environments. 

The Management of Health and Safety at work Regulations 1999.

The purpose of the management of health and safety at work regulations is to ensure employees are fully aware of the health and safety matters at their place of work. Elite Cleaning and Environmental Services ensures that all staff upon employment will have full health and safety briefing, and will be given the appropriate training for their place of work.
