Earlier this month we had the honour of attending the ITV insider Awards, a ceremony dedicated to all of ITV's suppliers and recognising their on site efforts. This award ceremony was the first of its kind and ITV aim to make it an annual event. ITV have a massive number of suppliers providing services ranging from maintenance and IT to catering and security.
We have worked with ITV for a number of years, initially on a consultation basis. From there, we were appointed to provide ITV with cleaning support services to their sites nationwide. Over the years our relationship has grown and our services have expanded to meet the clients ever changing needs and we are now a vital partner and valued supplier delivering a range of cleaning and associated services to include waste management and recycling.
ITV Said “(All of our suppliers) play a crucial role in enabling ITV to deliver its world class content and we would like to say a big thank you for your hard work and support!”
The event was a glamours affair. Guests were treated to an informal breakfast and the opportunity to connect with fellow suppliers of ITV. We were then addressed by some senior figures within ITV, giving an update on what has been happening and the challenges ahead for 2014. We were also given the chance to ask questions and find out more about our client and their vision for the next 5 years in a fast moving, highly technical media environment.
There were 12 nominated companies across all of ITV’s suppliers, but only 4 awards were being offered at the ceremony– Supplier of the Year 2014, Service team of the Year 2014, Best Newcomer and Customer Service Excellence.
To be nominated at the awards was recognition enough for Elite and the hard work our teams put in at ITV sites, but we were ecstatic to receive the award for Customer Service Excellence.
One thing we all pride ourselves on at Elite is our customer service commitment. We put our clients needs at the forefront of our operations and we believe the key to our success is developing and maintaining good relationships with our clients. Our relationship over the years has gone from strength to strength at ITV, and we look forward to developing and enhancing this to meet the future changes of the media business.
We would like at this time to thank all of our staff at our ITV sites. Over the years, we have received nothing but praise from ITV for your efforts and you should all be proud of your contribution to this award. Perception is reality.
