Elite's Rebrand

Elite Cleaning & Environmental Services Ltd, the innovative Manchester based commercial cleaning and facility service company, are proud to announce the launch of their new branding created by BOSSco Business Design Store.

Elite Cleaning & Environmental Services Ltd Managing Director Gerry McGrath said of the re-branding cygnet initiative: “This is an exciting time for the company; it is the first time we have dared to move away from the stereotypical environmental-product branding and create more of a fresh approach to the wider social, environmental and economic responsibilities we all face. The cygnet is flying high."

“The primary goal of our re-branding efforts was to better understand who our consumers are and refine our identity. Based on this, our new brand identity is designed to reflect the caring, vibrant and dynamic nature of Elite Cleaning & Environmental Services Ltd services with a logo that embodies this.”

The swan-logo re-brand has its foundation firmly set-out in Elite's ISO 14001 environmental commitments. With a totally new and refreshed presence for the brand the company has established a number of new environmental initiatives including: -

• Green Travel Plan – to minimise the impact of car travel on the environment

• Use of electronic staff login system minimising paper-based records

• Re-cycling of all cardboard, paper and cleaning machinery batteries both at head office and at customer bases

• Donation of unwanted electrical and furniture items to local charities

• Promotion of energy-saving "switch-off" campaigns across the company and customer-base

• Use of hand trigger sprays rather than aerosol propellants

• Minimising bleach based content within the cleaning products we use, whilst promoting highly effective biocidal cleaning using Tristel TM, which has a close to neutral pH, no hydrochloric acid, no chloride ion and non-aggressive pH content.

• Using ready-to-mix multi-purpose cleaners leading to reduce the number of chemicals in-use and packaging requirements

• Re-use and re-cycling of packaging to transport cleaning materials

• Use of micro-fibre cloths to minimise use of cleaning chemicals

• Site-based laundering of all appropriate cleaning cloths and mops to minimise waste and landfill

• Support for the Swan Sanctuary - rescuing swans from environmental threats, vandalism and other dangers

The company has also unveiled a range of additional services, including a bespoke tailored  provision designed to meet with the enhanced terms and conditions and TUPE transferred benefit requirements of NHS, Education and Civil Service sector staff.

Our current product portfolio includes a full range of office, facility and industrial cleaning services, washroom consumables and related ancillary support services.  The company has the capability to provide TUPE transferred staff from the NHS, Education and Civil-Service Sectors to benefit from broadly comparable Government Actuaries Department compliant schemes.
